(Q). What Confection Has Its Own Day? ( A). English Toffee (surprised?)

Don’t bother Googling it; you can take our word.  Why only English Toffee?  Probably because it’s been around for a couple hundred years and maybe because the Brits wanted something sweet to enjoy on their “Twelfth Night Celebration”.

Here in the U.S of A., we don’t need a special day to satisfy our appetite for sweets. And, in our opinion, nothing does it better than All-American Brownie Bites. Whether you want to treat yourself or a special someone on a special day – birthday, Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, you-pick-it – check out the Web for mail order brownies.  You’ll find a good group of artisan bakers, and one of our favorites is Blissful Brownies.

We like the down-home fact that the Chief Baker is following a recipe she created for Fudge Brownies in her mom’s kitchen when she was just 9. We like that they use only natural ingredients and that they bake-to-order and ship fresh from the oven.  We like the images of the German Chocolate Brownies, the Peanut Butter Brownies, and the other  features. We think you ought to take a looksee (or dekko, as the Brits would say) at the English Toffee.  It shows you how good chocolate covered toffee, sprinkled with pecans,  looks.

Incidentally, you may not think of it, but we know that brownies, those that we’d rank as gourmet brownies, make excellent corporate food gifts. So does English Toffee.  Any day.
